Anna Noakes has performed numerous concerti with major London Orchestras such as OSJ, English Sinfonia, London Musici and the Locrian Ensemble well as giving numerous recitals, as both, soloist and chamber musician, at venues that include the QEH, Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room and Waterfront Hall, and at many of Britain's most respected Festivals including Cheltenham, Salisbury, Dartington, Leicester Int. and Cork, Eire.

Anna has been invited to record many CD's featuring solo and flute chamber music, receiving Gramophone Magazine's coveted 'Critics Choice' a number of times. She has recorded for ASV, Naxos, Dutton Epoch and Guild and Kingdom and most recently Quartz. Her latest recording, entitled "First Milonga, Last Tango", Latin American flute and guitar music, mant of which are premiere recordings, just having been released (Nov. 2005)

She broadcasts regularly for BBC Radio3, Classic FM and Lyric FM and guests as Principal Flute with the LPO, Philharmonia, RPO, ASMF, and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, together with SNO, RLPO, OSJ, Manning Camerata, CLS and London Musici.

Anna is in increasing demand for the recording of music for Film and TV. Recent films include, James Bond, Harry Potter, Shrek, Love Actually, Cold Mountain, Kingdom of Heaven, Troy and The Constant Gardener.

Anna is Professor of Flute at Trinity College of Music, and for the past fourteen years has run her own Summer School for talented flute students, A Breath of Fresh Air. She is Artistic Director of the Yoxford Arts Festival.
